Humic shale is pulverized and placed in large food grade vats and submerged in purified cool water and allowed to leach naturally and undisturbed for many weeks. Depending on whose research you look at there may be as many as 60 essential minerals. By definition, if any of these essential minerals are missing from our diet, disease or even death can occur.
