Concept

Advertising through the radio is designed to get in front of a large number of people in a short period of time.

Because this maybe the first time these people have heard of Dr Wallach we have used a two step process to educate the customer and promote credibility. When the program is aired Dr Wallach does a 30 minute version of the Dead Doctors Don't Lie lecture with emphasis on his two books. As people call in a majority

Of them will ask abought the books, our first priority is to then sell the two book set (Let's Play Doctor" & "Rare Earth's"). If they are ready to order products at that time we will fill the order too. With every book we send and information pack and a free copy of the "Trust Me I'm a Doctor" tape (DOC mentions this on the show). When people receive the books and information they will usually look them over and call us back in 7 - 10 days to order product. We will at that time sign them up and ask a few questions of them that will tell us if they are a customer or a potential business builder. Customers are kept on a separate list from business builders and are sent different follow up material.

Customers should be sent a thank you card 10 days after the order with reorder instructions then sent general info every 60 days. Potential Distributors should be sent the 1000 tape training system and assisted in getting out their initial batch of tapes.

Finding Stations

There are 3 ways to do radio programs:

    1. Buy time, this is wear you contact a radio station and purchase 30 minutes of airtime. Most stations will allow you to do this and the price varies widely. Most big AM stations will charge $800-$1000 for each 30 minutes you run the show. A small Christian station can cost as little as $30. The cost is dictated by the market share in their area, so it all depends on how many leads you want for that day/week. A word of caution, some stations will overload you at first so start small and get used to handling the lead flow before you go hog wild. Ask for the program manager and tell them you want to air a 30-minute health and nutrition program by a very popular speaker Dr Joel Wallach.
    2. Get "Live" interviews, most of the talk show hosts are starving for good speakers especially if they are controversial. You can contact these hosts and get them to interview Dr Wallach for NO COST ! Find the most popular conservative talk show host in your area and call the station to get his/her number. They are usually hard to reach because of their schedule but will return calls if they sound interesting enough. When you talk to them you want to be ready with a short Bio on Dr Wallach ( Nobel prize nominee, best selling author of "Let's Play Doctor" & "Rare Earth's Forbidden Cures", national speaker on Dead Doctors Don't Lie etc) and tell them that he doing some work in the area and would they be interested in have him on their show. If they say yes you will need to get a couple of possible dates then call home office to check DOC's availability. If he is free he will do them! Dr Wallach will give out your phone number on the interview and you will receive all the calls. You need to be ready will all the materials listed above but double or triple the amounts depending on the size of the audience (****this is important because some shows will consistently yield 100-200 calls and one big station had 1500 responses! Get with your upline for help when doing these programs)
    3. Syndicated radio programs, Dr Wallach does a daily radio program from San Diego. This show can be syndicated (rebroadcast daily) by any radio station that would like to air the program. These are a bit more complicated to get done but if you would like to "PLAY LARGE" or know someone in that industry that can open some doors go for it!

Radio work can rocket your business but a quick word of caution, since new people are so easy to come by using this method we often forget to follow up and service these new customers. Make it a habit to send out thank you notes with the order, follow up with a phone call in two weeks to see how they are doing and then mail out order instructions and product info every 60 days. If you take care of your customers they will stay with you for a lone time, neglect them and inertia will over take them and after a couple months you will never hear from them again.
